Just want to make sure I am doing this right.....

I am trying to increase my endurance since I feel that my muscles are wearing out too fast while lifting. I have dropped my weight so I do double the reps in a set then proceed to do drop sets (decreasing 10lbs. at a time with 10ish reps) until I can barely lift 10lbs. Then rest for 2-3 mins and start again. Does this make sense and is it a good plan to build endurance?

Where is Muchmoremuscle when you need him?

That philosophy sounds similar to what my trainer did for endurance as well.
He had me drop my weight by 50-70% but increased my reps to 50 per set for three sets. Just my amatuer input.

I felt like a little girl with tiny weights but believe me it worked and burned...ouch!

I know what you mean, occasionally my trainer has me do low weight high volume sets, I feel like shouting out to the rest of the people in my gym that really I can lift heavier weights. But then I remember why I'm in the gym and forget about everyone else.

Thanks for the advice. Think I will keep it up for a few weeks then back to strength training.
