Meh. I don't really care if someone has them or not.

I mean, if their whole body is covered in stretch marks, I'd be worried.

A good moisturizing routine helps to reduce stretch marks and prevent more from forming. Vitamin A/E loaded moisturizers are good. I hear coconut oil works wonders. Then you can always use Bio-Oil if you're desperate. However, it takes MONTHS for stretch marks to be visibly reduced. Even with expensive crap like Bio-Oil. lol

I have them. I don't mind them, but for personal reasons, I chose to reduce the appearance of mine.

Rosehip Seed Oil and Jojoba as a base, with essential oils of Neroli, Frankincense, Helichrysum, German Chamomile and Carrot Seed is what I used. Worked fantastic!

But, I know not everyone has these available. But if you can, go for the natural alternative. Tends to work better, at least in my experience and with my clients =)

I don't mind them. I definitely don't find them ugly.

The stretch marks on my ass are rather well hidden. No reason to shave or laser those hairs. icon_eek.gificon_biggrin.gif

If they are still early in their formation, you can try to treat them with a tretinoin cream, but you will need an Rx from a doctor. Act early, because if they are not treated early they will never fully disappear, although they should become less visible over time.

To prevent them try to moisturize regularly (directly before and after the gym, and after showering).

My guy has them from retiring from the swim team combined with Freshman year blimp up. He shed the weight pretty quickly but was left a "reminder." He hates them but I don't even see them unless he specifically asks me about them and I examine. If ya got them, don't worry about it. No one will notice them but you. And congrats on getting the weight off.

I have stretch marks on my shoulders and biceps from gaining muscle, but they are barely noticeable.

I don't find stretch marks ugly, just like nipples, everybody has them.

There are many topical treatments for reducing stretch marks... or, for that matter, wrinkles!

I have always heard about using coco butter for stretch mark prevention.

And if someone felt really uncomfortable with the appearance of their stretch marks, they could always apply a cover up foundation that matches their body's skin tone in that area. I know it doesn't sound so, "manly," but it's a solution. icon_wink.gif
