Well I think I've outgrown video games and I'm bored. What should I do instead?

I lost interest in video games which took a large chunk of my time but now I got a void to fill. I'm on vacation till the end of June, don't have much money and my car is being lent so I'm stuck at home. I read, listen to music, surf the web, watch porn, take a walk at the park, sun bathe, take a gymnastics class. I think I might go swim laps at the pool. I need an activity to keep me busy and entertained.

    Outgrown video games? icon_eek.gificon_eek.gificon_eek.gificon_eek.gificon_eek.gificon_eek.gificon_eek.gificon_eek.gificon_eek.gificon_eek.gificon_eek.gif

I think you and your controller need to give each other some space. Separate for a while. Spend some time with some other gadgets. Soon, you will start to fondly remember those special moments fondling Kaiden in Mass Effect and teabagging fallen opponents in Call of Duty and you'll find your way back home into your beloved controller's hand grips.

Serious answer - sitting outside and reading with a cold drink is a great thing to do in summer. Maybe join a summer sport? They usually have volleyball or softball leagues in a lot of cities in early summer.

    Create something.

Write, draw, design, paint, make music, learn to program.

I've got infinite respect for people who create rather than consume.

Mmmmm there's nothing wrong with video games. They're good for your brain that's why older people are dumber than younger people.

    Jk!

This. Seriously, I don't see how anyone could outgrow video games.

But if it's life experience you crave, try walking outside. Let yourself wander for a bit. Maybe do some writing. How about drawing? Or use the time to clean up the house or make a list of other things you need to get done, and space them out.

Well I haven't played a video game in like 2 months. For a guy who played WoW non-stop for 7+ years that's a feat!

I still enjoy watching SC2 matches though.

Wait 15 minutes for them to invent a more exciting system.

I go to the gym and write music practically every day - but I always find time for my beloved video games.
