Omg that's what I wanna do too. Except use an Indian surrogate cause I ain't going through the travelling, legal hurdles and lack of oversight. That's so nice though.

I am so happy for them. I hope they will be an amazing parents for those young angels. They are so beautiful. I never use to care about death and child birth before either, but recently I have been more emotional than ever.

This is fucking adorable. No words can sum up how this made me feel. The babies are lucky to have cool parents who would travel around the world for them.

Those babies are precious icon_smile.gif This story is cute although the Indian surrogacy does seem a bit excessive to me. To each his own though, there is no wrong way to start a family so long as it is out of love. Just because I personally do not believe in reproduction doesn't mean I'm judging other people for doing it. I just want to adopt babies that cute!!! icon_smile.gif

No. There's something creepy about going to another country for a surrogate mother. icon_confused.gif .... If I were going to have kids I would want to adopt.

    Edit: to each their own.

+1, I watched an ABC news special a couple months ago saying how Western couples are doing a lot surrogacy in India because it's cheaper there. Most of these Indian women do it because they're poor and need the money for their family. I mean, it's like a business model. Why do you you want to do a surrogacy in the US when it costs like 100,000 grand comparing to say 15,000 grand in India. They're trying to pass a law in India to stop these exploitation of stuff like this on women. Same thing on adopting foreign kids comparing to US kids. Urg, this would make the kid half white/half indian!

That is another whole political issue to debate on. I like to adopt, too. I feel that there are a lot of misfortune kids in the world. You make your own family, I had enough brat nieces and nephews to make me not want to have children of my own.

    I'm in dilemma :-/

one part of me, makes me to feel happy because they are happy and a family now...

and another part of me, makes me feel sad because of the questions running in my mind 'why can't they just adopt a kid? There are many orphans in USA itself, just because it's cheaper why came to India?' still many more questions coming to my mind and all of them are making me to prefer adoption over surrogacy.
Anyway, it has already happened, I can't go to past & make them to think...So, overall...I'm happy for them

It doesn't make my heart melt , at the contrary he always upsets me , that some couples hetero or same sex , are doing gestational surrogacy , when there are so many children already born and who need to be adopted .

To my eyes , gestational surrogacy , is selfish and
    egotistical.
Now that said ,i am getting ready for the insults to fly my way ..icon_smile.gif
