    Hey peoples!
So I am an aspie (google it) and I am just wondering if there are any others on this site. I mean, statistically there are. But do they know it or want to admit it? That is the question. So. Answer icon_smile.gif

I work with someone who has Aspergers. Why am I telling you this? I don't know.
It's strange because he has so much trouble expressing himself in person but his texts to me are letter perfect in thought, spelling, grammar, and punctuation!

From what I've read, a person with Asp has trouble sympathizing with other people. This suits my work-mate ts a T. Do either of you have that difficulty?

I was a TA for three years in college and helped several in class. Nice people, usually. There was the one guy who had it to the point where he didn't understand etiquette of discourse, so he'd always interrupt the professor during lecture. I felt bad for him - I remember grading his work and he was clearly one of the only people who ever studied for the lab exams (it was an intro course with lots of unmotivated freshmen). No one ever wanted to work with him in lab - their loss.

There was an article in the New York Times recently about a company that finds employment specifically for people with Autism spectrum disorders. This company gets big bucks for such people, because of their unique and desirable skills.
