What should a teenager know about when dealing with romantic intentions with the same sex? Anything you know now that you wished you had known back then? Words of wisdom are always appreciated.

Well, when you turn 18.. you're an adult. At least in the US. I rarely hear of any 18 or 19 year olds that refer to themselves at teenagers.

If you want something, you have to go seize it.

    Good hygiene is critical.

Look after yourself, be good to yourself, spend time doing things you enjoy.

Develop friendships. Take calculated risks. But don't be afraid to cut people loose.

True, I was just saying there is still a teen part in nineteen. Besides, we aren't truly adults until 21. 18 is like adult but without some privileges (buying alcohol)...21 is full out.

Prolonging a failed relationship just makes you both more bitter in the end.

This kid's 18, but I also think it's hypothetical. Like a "what would you tell your teenage self" sorta deal.

I would tell myself to be out in high school. I was already tormented for people thinking I was gay, coming out couldn't have made it much worse. Plus there are some hot football players that I went to school with who have now come out, so maybe I could have gotten summa dat dick back then. icon_cry.gif

Like you actually needed to be out for that to happen. I preferred the track team though icon_wink.gif

Oh yeah, and like Shawnathan said, use condoms.

Truly an adult at 21? Oh how little you know....

You might legally be considered an adult but you're far from really being an adult at 21.

You might be an adult at 30 if you're lucky.

People will stare regardless, it's human nature to stare at the misunderstood. If you get uncomfortable when people stare at you then you will never be able to get over the taboo that is homosexuality/bisexuality

But sure make them stare if your want.........

Stay clean, be careful, live with compassion and stay true to yourself. When in public turn heads so fast homophobic necks twist themselves right off. Listen to Cash, but don't dig for gold, that's what cougars are for as they don't breath fire.
