Douching doesn't get me clean -?!

Sometimes douching doesn't get me clean. I stick my finger up there to test and it comes out dirty. Sometimes the stuff is kinda the texture of toothpaste, or rather, fresh-ground peanut butter. Four or five bottles (Fleet bottle, dump out the laxative and fill with lukewarm water) might do the trick but some days I have to just give up because it seems like you'd need a pressure-washer to hose that down!

    Any ideas what's going on?

This doesn't always happen. Some days a bottle or two is all it takes, no weird mess, and then some days I'm clean without douching at all.

My diet is very healthy - whole grains, lots of vegetables, virtually no junk or fast food, low fat, easy on the meat and starches.

You might be using just too much water.

If you say it varies from day to day, maybe you're eating foods that don't sit we'll with you? Start keeping track of what you're eating and see if there's a pattern between your food and, um, how it comes out. icon_biggrin.gif Also, lots of fiber tends to soften stool: eat a banana or two and see how it changes.

Yeah I was wondering if there's such a thing as too much fiber. I love vegetables and sometimes when I make a batch of, say, roasted brussels sprouts I'll polish off the whole thing - maybe 3/4 lb - and have little or nothing else for dinner... and maybe do the same thing the next day.

My plumbing works the opposite of how it's supposed to according to all the healthy-eating advice: if I have a burger and greasy fries, or way too many cookies, everything's fine 'down there'. The problems I described happen when I've had lots of fresh green vegetables, brown rice and very light on the fats. I don't get it.

    just keep in mind:
-it takes 5-8hours for the food to leave the stomach
-total time is 30-50 hours from the time you eat your "whole grains, lots of vegetables, virtually no junk or fast food..." till the time you excrete the same.

My ex barely eats in the 36 hours before sex, douches 5 times right before, and has a feast right after sex. icon_cool.gif

I naturally don't have this problem. But I'd recommend cleaning out ONLY if you're about to have sex (within the moment or the next few hours).

I get the implication that you clean everyday, just for the sake of cleaning? Also, enemas can be bad for your health by messing up your natural "balance" down there. Plain old water is much more acceptable and 100% does the trick. You don't need a chemical reaction (enema) to do what water (a douche) can do.
