Ok...oddly enough it just started to snow for the first time this season where I am....in London, Ontario, Canada.

Come on everyone...do your part. Drive your SUVs and increase global warming! I don't want to deal with snow in October.

I can feel a disturbance in the force. As if a million middle aged mothers cried out for a white Christmas and then were silenced.

We've had weird weather here as well the last few years. We had freeze warnings last night for HOUSTON, TX! I live a bit north of Houston and we had snow last year in MARCH and the year before on Easter, which was APRIL 7th, we had snow then too! We're lucky to get snow in January much less April.

Well, I live in Canada -- and not even in a part of the country with REALLY winter weather! Today I just saw a car drive by with a thin covering of snow. Apparently they had a blizzard in Ottawa last night. We usually don't get that kind of weather for another month or so. However, it's been bloody cold the past few days.

I think I need to get back to London and go out for a proper night of drinking with redheadguy (who, so you all know, was everso charming when we met while I was there a few weeks ago).

I showed Xanadude the delights of Soho and we also went for a meal in a 'gay' restaurant. I was a good boy and kept my hands on the table.

My goodness, sir...don't you know a true gentleman doesn't talk about such things.

And neither does Red. icon_wink.gif (I'm just teasing Red -- sorry I couldn't resist! But you & I know the truth....)

Global Warming . . . which is actually climate change is the reason it is snowing in October.

Its snowing in London in October, so what. It is better than a violent hurricane or tornado. Snowing in a northern city or region is nothing that unusual whether its in the USA or in the United Kingdom or mainland Europe. So get over it. After all you all could be living in either the Carribean or in Southeastern Texas cleaning up after that vicious Hurricane Ike. So count your blessings and stop bitching about it.

Lots of snow supposedly east of Toronto that will melt over the next couple of days. Up to 17 degrees next week, so this is hopefully just an anomaly. Snow before December 1st is not the exciting event it was when I was a kid.
I did not have to worry driving in it back then.

I predict that the weather this winter will suck. Snow will fall, ice will form, electric wires will fall (bury the lines, ferchrisakes!), power will go out, babies will freeze, cars will crash, rooves will cave, spring will eventually arrive, but many deaths will have passed in the meantime. Where's my makeup?
