Anyone in traditional media must know that the days of a long career are long gone. Of course, it is getting tiresome reading online news written by imbecilic third graders, but it's free.

And is all dependent on who you choose to read from - it's an easy argument to make that the death of legacy media was due to self inflicted wounds...

And the reason is they want more video than photos, which is odd because I am seeing a trend now of people clicking on articles only to find that they are videos......slow-playing, ad-infested videos. In the comments section of a CNN story today people were writing things like, "Just post the damn article so I can READ the story. I don't want to watch a video that slows my computer down!"

Aristoshark saidThis has nothing to do with self-inflicted wounds in spite of Ridiot's hatred of media that he likes to pretend is liberal.

It's about money. The executives want more of it. Simple Republican greed.

I'm glad you think so and are therefore are accumulating a large portfolio of legacy media stocks.

    You're as stupid as ever.
Says the guy who thinks that layoffs and the decline of legacy media firms is the result of "profit seeking". Dumbass.

And as agenda-driven as always. Knock the US lifestyle, US political system, the US economy, the US people at every opportunity, to spread self-doubt, uncertainty and fear. Gee, I wonder why this non-US citizen from China does this countless times a day here? Any thoughts?

The only reason he's still on RJ is because he has a hot body. If it weren't for that, he'd be long gone.

I'm not sure he reads much any more. Anyone who thinks that these layoffs are the result of profit seeking versus say, I dunno, survival, is either delusional or remarkably stupid.
