They are indeed a very cute couple - congrats!

I wondered where this is, and I saw an article comment by a Huffington Post editor saying it was New York, but not where in the State.

They are adorable, and I hope this becomes the new normal.

When I was their age, I would have never dreamed that things would change for the positive the way they have.

Chances are that you will never see something beautiful like this in the southern states especially ultraconservative controlled states like South Carolina, Alabama, Mississippi, and Texas.

Guys holding hands in my town is an everyday occurrence. And I mean "every day" quite literally. Hell, seeing guys kissing in public is even common. Remember.....it's New York that's having all the gay bashings right now....not the South.

But you reside in New Orleans which is totally differant from the rest of the south. New Orleans has always been more tolerant and accepting of other groups of people which is in very stark contrast to much of the south.

I don't know how to react to this, it almost blew my mind. I'm proud of those boys, almost to tears. I admire and envy their courage. They're cute and smart, with a wonderful future ahead, and live in a time when they can be comfortable with who and what they are, it's just amazing. God Bless them! icon_biggrin.gif

My point is....it's still the South which is why it doesn't pay to generalize.

I am so proud of them. They aren't letting anything or anyone stop them.
