I for one and rather distraught at the blatant attacks on the gay community about marriage in commercials. I've seen so far 4 commercials for Prop 8 but none against, are we fighting silently on this matter or something?
We need to be spreading the word to vote NO on Prop 8, its not just a matter for californians it affects the whole country. Its even on the ballot here in Florida. Hell i for one even if i wasn't voting for a president i'd go just to vote on that key issue.

I mean if we want to grant more rights to hetros, why not take away women's rights to vote, or african americans right to own land, freedom to all not to some. Sometimes this country really makes me wonder.

But newho, enough ranting; what do you people think about Prop 8, and what will you do if its enacted. Thats my question.

( I for one think that Australia seems like a Nice country, or even England, Hell i think Ireland could even been a nice place to settle... Just so as long as i get the same rights as a Hetro )

I will never understand the logic that states by extending the right to marry to same-sex couples, that the "institution" of marriage is somehow under attack. Will the divorce rate among heteros skyrocket because a couple of guys can tie the knot? I certainly don't see it happening in Canada. Sure there was some opposition in this country from religious fundamentalists, but quite a few conservatives thought we had more important things to worry about (and they are right).
