LORD I wasn't ready for that... I'm still kinda shaking.

(Game of Thrones is a TV series adapted from the epic fantasy novels A Song of Ice and Fire, by R.R. Martin. It's probably the best series I have ever watched - and apparently many, many people share my opinion. It is just flawless.)

It left me speechless, very well done. I really want to read the books now.

I think last night eps. really hit the fans hard. Everyone posted on the GOT facebook page how they are now "traumatized." LOL

Daenerys, Arya, and Jon Snow make that show worth watching.

I wish they'd just come out and reveal that Jon Snow is Daenerys's nephew. This isn't a spoiler because it hasn't even been revealed in the book, but c'mon, we all know it's true.

Whenever you post, I hear it in Jon Snow's voice. icon_neutral.gif

I heard about it before from friends, I read about it myself, but what they were able to display on that episode was beyond what I have imagined. Kudos to them!

If he starts dancing like he's got ants in his pants over a pair of crossed swords, Scottish style, he's dead to me. And you lose those sexy points. You don't need them anyway. icon_wink.gif

On another note, how's your sis's therapy coming along?

    The Scots can't dance anyway.

It's going well, she's out of the hospital as of last week, although she has to go to 6 hours of physical therapy a day, continued for about a year.

The episode last night was truly awesome. I have just finished the 4th book so I knew what was going to happen, but I was still shocked. I hope next weeks season finale will be as great as this episode was!! icon_eek.gif

Really? I find her to be a self-absorbed, vain, shallow, cruel, vindictive, incestuous, overbearing, unintelligent cunt with no redeeming qualities whatsoever.

Arya, Daenerys, Tyrion, Jon, Brienne, even Tywin...those are true badasses, because badass is in their nature. Cersei tries to be badass, but she fails spectacularly time and time again.

Hehe, notice how you love all the "good-doers" on the show (well, Tywin isn't exactly "good", but he does stick to his values and seem pretty fair). ^^

But yeah, I sort of agree with you on Cersei. She's not really badass, she's just in a powerful position, so she can do pretty much whatever she wants. She would crumble to pieces, if she were to fall to a position where she'd have to fend for herself.

I know wow well at least that sort of cleans up one of the story lines. More space for dragons and such.

True, but I also like Jaime, the Hound, Theon...
And in no way is Arya a do-gooder. That little bitch is a 4'5" hell demon.

as someone who had read the books years ago, this was definitely one of the scenes i was looking forward to see. i can't wait for some of the stuff that has yet to come though.
