Happy to read that Rush's advertising revenue is back. Look forward to many more years of Rush keeping us enlightened.

    Enlightened in what?

How to be a hateful person and call people sluts or stereotype every black person as looking like a criminal.

    Or my favorite
"Holocaust?" Ninety million Indians? Only four million left? They all have casinos -- what's to complain about?

Rush provides no insight into anything really. He just rants about stuff and gets his base fired up.

Glad his revenue is up from tractor and soda sales ads, the stereotype of his type of audience is blatantly true.

Thought I'd hear from you pretty quickly when I used that word. Let's say just as enlightened as listening to Lawrence O'Donnell or Ed Schultz.

Edit: and in what little early morning radio listening I do, I generally don't listen to Rush.

    I much prefer Glenn Beck.

Really? As far right as you are, you don't seem like the type to buy into the conspiracy theories that Glenn promotes.

MSNBC is not the equivalent to the liberal Rush. Way off. Rachel Maddow alone has more integrity than any of the talking heads on Fox. The only one who comes close is Shep Smith. The others are lightyears behind.

You obviously never watch either Lawrence O'Donnell or Ed Schultz because if you did, you would know that they both are as equally hard on Democrats as they are Republicans. They simple fact is that Republicans, due to their lack of concern regarding facts combined with outrageous, nutty behavior provides many, many more targets.

MSNBC has been very hard on Obama regarding the AP phone tapping. Regarding the NSA issue, all MSNBC commentators have raised concerns.

I've seen clips. Fox & Friends, O'Reilly, Beck (when he was on the air), Sean Hannity, Megan Kelly—it's a three-ring circus.

Like I said, the only one who comes across as sensible is Shep Smith.

Well, if you watched MSNBC today, you would know that to a commentator, they were all critical of Obama Administration regarding the news of NSA phone call monitoring...

The New York Times, Washington Post and other so called "liberal" papers were extremely tough on Obama regarding the AP phone taps.

Clearly, you only see what you want to see and facts do not matter, which is typical for conservatives and conservative media.

They're critical of him for the very 1st time. I'll be impressed if it happens more often, but I'm not holding my breath.

Conservative hero Rush Limbaugh is the Dems' best friend... he is the atom bomb of disgusting bigotry and sexism that turns the stomachs of the vast majority of Americans, who then go out and vote for Democrats. Which is why we will continue to win national elections as long as the public face of the Republican party is Limbaugh, Glenn Beck, and their ilk.

Limbaugh, Palin and the conservative media whores couldn't care less about damaging the Republican party... they are in it simply to cash in for themselves, laughing all the way to the bank as the GOP goes down in flames -- largely due to their own repulsive stunts, conspiracy theories and hate campaigns.

Fine, excuse the name calling. But the point is that the personalities on MSNBC aren't just liberals. There are conservatives who regularly appear on the network.

How to be a hateful person and call people sluts or stereotype every black person as looking like a criminal.

I don't know who they are but if they are the liberal Rush then I never will listen to them either.

Shittin me? MSNBC. I thought you'd be all over that. icon_wink.gif

MSNBC is not the equivalent to the liberal Rush. Way off. Rachel Maddow alone has more integrity than any of the talking heads on Fox. The only one who comes close is Shep Smith. The others are lightyears behind.

You ever ACTUALLY listen to Fox? Give it a try, you may like it.

I've seen clips. Fox & Friends, O'Reilly, Beck (when he was on the air), Sean Hannity, Megan Kelly—it's a three-ring circus.

Like I said, the only one who comes across as sensible is Shep Smith.

How 'bout Bob Beckel? How bout Juan Williams? Plenty of 'fair and balanced' on Fox.

Name more. Seriously. MSNBC also has commentators who are conservative. So they would be just as 'fair and balanced.'

And Juan Williams is an idiot.

Nuttin like a little name calling to prove a point.

Fine, excuse the name calling. But the point is that the personalities on MSNBC aren't just liberals. There are conservatives who regularly appear on the network.

So, according to your logic, shouldn't you consider them fair and balanced as Fox?

    I can assure you .... I don't watch MSNBC.

Ok, but that doesn't matter icon_biggrin.gif

Again, the point is, by your logic, you should be considering MSNBC to be 'fair and balanced' too because the network doesn't only feature liberal commentators, but conservative ones too.

Dunno. I don't watch MSNBC and likely never will.
