Where does the Universe end .... and if it ends somewhere, then what is on the other side of it?

OMG, we could so talk about this over a glass of wine.

I'd give anything if I could learn to sing.
Music is my first love and I write music but my voice cannot find the right pitches.
But maybe that doesn't count though. You can't really *learn* talent.
So I'll say I wish I could learn sign language. I knew it a little once but now it's all forgotten.

You must study curved space if you want to understand this but be prepared to have a head-ache. The universe is boundless but finite. If you had an super telescope and looked straight up, you'd see the bottom of our planet.

Years of piano and guitar lessons. Can't play.
Years of art classes: Can't draw
Years of both Hebrew school and Spanish lessons: Can't pick up a 2nd language.

I can read notes, I know where all the notes are. I can whistle every note often just from hearing a song once. I was a wiz at Simon. But I can't play instruments.

It isn't quite that I can't draw but that it would take me forever. The guy next to me has a polaroid picture in a half hour and three hours later I'm still working on one corner of the thing. I could imagine images but I couldn't translate that onto paper. So frustrating.

I got As in my Spanish classes. I can learn the technical stuff but I couldn't speak sentences. With some help for some words I can read Spanish but when a person speaks Spanish they might as well be talking Latin. It just sounds like gibberish to me. I hate that my brain won't pick it up.

I very much admire people with those talents. I would love to have those outlets of expression. Instead I remain self amused, silent in my thoughts.

I'd love to learn French, since I regret not taking it once I finished with it in grade 9. Aside from that, I'd kill to be able to learn parkour, just for the fun of it!
