I want to buy a shirt that is in style for the summer. Plaid collared shirts have been in style seemingly too long. What is new to wear that will be in style for a while?

Why worry about what's in fashion? Guys who are always clamoring to wear the latest fashion is a huge turn off to many guys; I know it is to me. Wear what YOU feel looks good and stop being so concerned about what others tell you to wear.

I agree for the most part. But sometimes you have to step it up for certain occasions. Other than that, I get my busted clothes at the swap meet or at skate/surf shops.

Everything Is fashion! Even anti-fashion is fashion. But when you meet up with a guy from OK Cupid and he's wearing what he wore in 1989 ,trust me it is not a pretty sight and a red flag that every else about him is gonna be off .

I agree. But you're worried about wearing latest fashion and concerned about what's "in." Those are entirely different statements.

You can never go wrong with either a long or short sleeve shirt in either white or all in black. Or black and white... LOL. They look good with shorts, jeans, chinos, or dress pants. Guess it depends on where you want to wear it? I also like tone on tone patterns, like black/grey plaid, white with white polka dots, or shadow stripes. Im not too big on loud colours. Show us what you buy... LOL.

You could buy some express stretch v-necks. They have nice summer colors and they are only like 25 bucks.

Invest in a more premium CK or Armani plain vneck. The fabric of these are way more durable and can easily be worn casually or as an evening look with a change of shoes.

At 55 you don't want to wear what is in fashion, you look like a fool unless you are one of the super rich. Wear what looks good on you. Polo's are always safe.

I like the styles, but the cuts, colors, and sizes are too metrosexual for me. They need larger shirts with deeper v necks to emphasize their muscles. Why do guys with obviously athletic bodies have to look like pencils? I hate the colors. They are pastel meets little boy blue or something. Even the white is too soft of a white. I like a harsher white, like a fruit of the loom white. And that gray is too phony artist gray. The henley shirt should be black. Not joking. I think it needs to look way less pretentious, and more rugged. The cuffs look like he spent more time trying on clothes than than working with his big strong hands. I like clothes that are less tight and fussy. I'm not even masc or straight acting, gurl, so don't get me wrong, I just think this stuff is too emasculating. I like ten dollar shirts in a large size that doesn't cheat and make you look like your taping your boobs down. I wish men's fashion was less uppity and more in your face brawn. Grrr. That would be hawt.

As a mens wear buyer i recommend Ben Sherman Oxford checks, they've got classic collars, cuffs, buttons and fit like they are custom made. Effortlessly stylish without trying too hard!
