I'm thinking of asking my friends to start calling me something cool.. I don't know what it'd be though. I only had one nickname when i was growing up and it was "Pucci"-- can i use that as an adult now? It sounds kinda mob-ish and a bit soft, i think.. My friend has a wiener dog named Pucci.

Will "Pucci" prove useful and help me win over "the ladies"? i need tips.

I would like something that sounds friendly but that will also strike fear into the enemy's heart; I want to make sure that I'm loved but also respected at all times.

What would say "hey guys, i'm friendly and responsible but also know how to kick back and have a good time--WHAT THE F*CK DID YOU JUST SAY TO ME!!??? -- i enjoy staying active and also like to cuddle"

What about "Leonidas"? is that a certified panty dropper or what?

Would you just LOVE to meet a guy who everyone calls Leonidas?

    Aristoshark saidHow about "Killer"?
    I always wanted that nickname.

I like that. I want to find an easy way to get my metaphysical friends to warm up to it. The gym bro's are gonna love it, though. For sure!

Isn't it considered poor taste to give yourself a nickname...sort of like declaring yourself the king of pop after M. Jackson died, Kanye West? icon_rolleyes.gif

Nah, choosing your own nickname is crap. It's gotta be something that comes out nowhere and sticks with your friends.

I kind of agree with letting one come from others. My real first name (and this is what's on my birth certificate) is Rusty. When I was in the Navy people called me Nails, which was ok, but not terribly original. My nieces call me UR, which I love, and my brother and his wife also call me that. It sounds like they're calling me You Are instead of the letters.

I have a bunch of nicknames:

    Slim
    RiRi (because of my name)
This cook at work calls me: Big Dog, Boss, or little guy (which obviously suits me better.)

But, these nicknames have been given to me by people. I think it's kinda weird to give yourself one, but, of that's what you want.

Pucci and Tigre sound cool though. :^]

I do but it's not exactly in direct correspondence to my real name.
My grandmother made it up as she does with everyone and it's the nickname my entire family call me.
I'm not going to say though lol because it's not cool.
Really it sounds just like another name but it has an inside meaning between my grandmother and my fam.
I don't even know what it is haha.

Everyone in my family calls me Ikee. I hate that name. I always correct them and say no my name is Isaiah. My grandfather used to call me Big Ike which I didn't mind. I actually went by Ike for most of middle and high school.

i earned the nickname 'THE MIGHTY HEBREW' during my second aussie rules football practice session. (i've shortened it to "the mighty heeb'' and i love it because i OWN IT!) we were doing the 'star drill' and i was caught in the middle and walloped by not one, but 3 footy balls right to the head. i went down like a rock, but got back up and shook it off. one of the coaches, a huge aussie guy (and REALLY HOT!!) made the remark...''holy crap mate, you're one mighty hebrew!!") from then on, it stuck like glue. and i love it to this very day.
