Has anyone developed lactose intolerance after losing a good amount of weight.

I lost just about 70lbs now and I have noticed that my body doesn't handle dairy products very well. Which is odd since I never had an issue with it before. Has anyone else experience anything like this?

    I think it's coincidence.
I was lactose intolerant for a few years and then it went away. The doctors didn't know what to make of it. In that time, I never suffered such pain!

Prepare to be assaulted by wannabe PhDs for your body.

Your life from now on will be in a test tube for the rest of eternity to provide data to be presented in subpar crappy articles in magazines full of crap.

I have become lactose intolerant as I have gotten older. It happens, good things we have options these days.

Same here. Bodies change as they evolve. I used to drink milk like water when i was a kid. Now I can only do lactose free. It's not rare for us to become lactose intolerant as we get older because we're the only animal on the planet that feeds on another animal's milk after nursing.

I became lactose intolerant as I got older as well. It crept up on me. What was interesting for me is that I became vegetarian for a few years and when I stopped eating meat then the gas went away. I was trying to lose weight (and did lose a good amount) so after awhile also cut out the dairy products and eggs and was effectively a vegan. Since then I've not had any cow's milk, but I do like some cheese and cottage cheese every now and then. Eggs for baking muffins and such.

I wonder if there could be some other change in your diet that's making you less lactose tolerant?
