    Toy Soldiers

I Love You More You Know

I Feel The Earth Move (a cover I know, but we'll let her off)

Love Thy Will Be Done (yay, Martika, I'm feeling it)

So, who'd like to join? Ok, so she was a bit bonkers, a bit, well, Cuban. But her music lives on in my i-tunes.

Remember that song "Like Toy Soldiers" a few years back when Eminem sampled Martika?

Maybe Marshall Mathers loves Martika as well!?

Oh wow... My boyfriend just bought Toy Soldiers on iTunes a few days ago. When I found out, he was almost embarrassed to admit it... but I was almost more embarrassed to admit that I was glad he did :-)

    Good song.

OMG how did I miss this thread...wait it existed before I joined...but I LOVE Martika. I remember when she was the lead on Kids Incorporated! Honestly, I think she was my one and only crush on a girl.

That little blonde who sings the beginning of the second verse? Stacey FERGIE Ferguson. Martika sings later on - she's in the black and green outfit.

    God bless the 80s!

I loved Swing Out Sister. Don't know the Blow Monkeys. Where I grew up, we had ONE pop radio station and it was limited in what it played. And I never had MTV until...1998...so I only saw music videos when I went to my cousins, my granny's, or saw them in a hotel room. Oh and NBC Friday Night and Saturday Morning video shows.
