I've always wondered why: It's probably not just me who feels stuff like this, but probably almost every human being in the world probably feels this way.

Some of the hottest muscular guys (in MY case, since I'm gay) are in different cities. You get on some weird website, scroll down the people who're in your city, but ALL of a sudden you click on the SEXIEST and funniest guy ever. Everything's fucking magical and fireworks just EXPLODE, everything's fine ALL until you see where he posted on his profile on what city he lives in...

And sadly it's sometimes says that they're in a different city icon_confused.gif

Yeah... I was just wondering if people thought of this also... or experienced it?? Lol

It's the Law of GUDs (Geographically Undesirable Dates).

Men are like parking spaces: the ones closest to you are taken or "handicapped"...and the available ones are far, far away....

Yeah, I agree.....so we need to make the best of what we got. YOU know, arranged marriages were around for thousands of years, and they grew into love. MAYBE our romantic notions are frivolous and unrealistic.

You are right. It's simple mathematics. You're looking for:

    - a male: 50% of population
    - who is between 16-30 years old: 20% of population
    - who is gay: 5% of population
    - who is out: 70% of gay male population
    - who has an active online profile: 75% of gay male out population
    - who is active on the same dating site as you: 25% of gay male out population
    - who is muscular: 15% of gay male out population
    - who is hot: 33% of muscular gay male out population
    - who is funny: 30% of hot muscular gay male out population

0,000975% of the US population qualify your standards.

The higher your standards are, the less likely it is you will find a guy who qualifies that lives in your area.

Moving to a more densely populated area will increase your chances, though.

Lets all just pack up our shit and decide to move in with each other, cant expect to have a real relationship if we only sit behind our computers and " wish " they were closer, lets just DO it

Yes, I swear whenever I view the profile of someone I find attractive it says Canada. Usually either Ontario or Quebec.

Try expanding your circle by socializing outside of North Main or G-harmony. You might be surprised.
