There are plenty of threads complaining about guys and dating/relationships. So how bout a thread to say something positive about your man or your romantic situation, past or present.

Ok, guess I'll go first. I love that my boyfriend does little things that show his generous nature, like the other morning when he decided to pick up breakfast sandwiches, coffee, donuts and milk for us to share before he left for work.

OMG! I'd break up with mine if he get that kind of breakfast for me...."Gee babe, thanks for telling me that I'm fat" is what I'd say! icon_biggrin.gif

Seriously, when I went to a conference in Vegas and as I entered my room, there was a box of chocolates, a bottle of wine and a note from him. It was very romantic and he definitely touched my heart! icon_smile.gif

Awww, that's very sweet of him! Mine does the same thing sometimes, but usually it will be after he comes home from work. Then I return the favor and make him breakfast on the weekends, which usually consists of scrambled eggs with cream cheese (on occasion) mixed in. It's decedent, but he seems to enjoy them.

I remember the most grandiose dinner I have ever prepared for him. It was for Valentine's Day a few years ago. I made Beef Wellington and served with it my most expensive bottle of wine--Shafer 2000 Hillside Select. He's not really a red wine person, but I felt it to be appropriate. Maybe I could have fared better with Lobster Thermidor with an Alsacian Riesling...oh well.

There's so much that being in a relationship gives me.

When I'm fed-up, stressed, had a sh*tty day and got a problem. I tell my partner how I feel and why, and he gives me a hug and says it'll be OK.... and suddenly everything's fine.

Being single is good. But I'm too used to being part of something better now.
