T Boosters

    Hey everyone,

I was just wondering what the deal with testosterone boosters was. Does anyone take them, and do they work?

I feel like I sort of hit a wall with my lifting and was hoping this would get me over that wall. In the past I have only ever really taken, whey, creatine, and pre-workout energy stuff as far as supps go.

If anyone has any recommendations for finding one that is effective, legal, natural, and relatively cheap, please let me know!

    Thanks guys!

Recently bought Testostrong from Clean Health Nutrition but haven't started it yet as waiting for my Nitric Power to come and use the recommended combination.

I'm not a doctor, but I feel like at 23 you're still considerably peaked with your natural T.

Just a guess though, mostly because I have done a cycle from (expensive) over the counter stuff and nothing happened. But it was over the counter, so who knows.

If you're trying to bulk, I might just take an extra day (of each week) off of the gym or limit your cardio. If you haven't changed your routine in a while you may need to mix it up, try new exercises to stimulate your muscles more. Sleep well, train hard, eat everything (clean).

Also.... I'm really skeptical of supplements like T boosters. I think they fall into the "miracle pill" category, based off of some of the claims I've read on the bottles. Just my opinion, though!

If you add T at your age you will get bodybuilder results if you also do the work. I read that when you quit the T regimen, you also lose about 65% of the gain but still, 35% is a lot. I don't think you can get T legally, unless you are naturally low in T, but if you can, there's Axiron (about $300./month) but my guess is it won't add significantly to your mass. I've also heard you can get a compound of injectable at a compounding pharmacy for something like $50. I think what you want to do is the illegal high level to get serious T results. Lot of guys do it. I don't but I really haven't seen anything like the roid rage always talked about. I have seen significant hair loss. And a redefining of the jaw line. Not sure that is always a good look.

Test your T before you spend any money on supplements. Independent labs do it pretty cheaply.

Ive been on the real deal for about two weeks. So far I havent noticed much of a difference other than a slight boost in energy. But the fat loss/muscle gain hasnt showed up yet.

I heard that D-Aspartic Acid is the only OTC test booster that actually works. You could also try something like ZMA, but I feel like that would only work if you are deficient in those minerals. You probably won't even see results with those since they only raise your test slightly. It's not going to be enough for you to get an anabolic response.

Over the counter "testosterone boosters" are junk. Read the ingredients. They're mostly spices and herbs. The rest is "proprietary" secret ingredients, which most likely are ordinary vitamins.

As someone mentioned previously, your body is full of natural testosterone at your age. If you hit a plateau in your workouts, then it's time to switch up your workouts or try add another sport into the mix.

I have had some spotty results with it. The only one that made me feel all manly and angry was bullnox. It is a test booster/pre-workout energy drink combined.

The only downside is that if you are tolerant to stims, it may not give you much of a kick, and you have to take it consistantly to get the test boost out of it.

I definitely felt stronger and more angry.

give it a shot and let me know!!

I've used tribulus extract before. It's herbal and natural if that matters to you (not me, but anyway). I got great workouts.

Downside though is that it's also used as a libido enhancer (I say downside because I didn't need any added libido, but to some that may just be an added plus). I know I'm tiny, but I've tried every workout supp trying to get big, and this (and some stuff from Poland that isn't legal anymore) is the only stuff that's worked for me. I'm no doctor, but this is probably more safe than the Polish stuff anyway. But ask your doctor. See if stuff works and is safe first.

Yeah, I've had good results with tribulus. Read up on the brand before you buy it, though; as with all vitamins and supplements, quality varies intensely by brand.

What it does is prevent your excess testosterone from being converted into estrogen. This means your body gets a 'boost' of test, simply by not converting it away.

It worked for me, but I also had had elevated estrogen levels before, so my results may have been more noticeable.

None of the over-the-counter test boosters raise your testosterone levels significantly enough to make noticeable gains. They are a waste of money.
