Blakes7 saidSomeone like that is beyond rehabilitation. I wouldn't want him to take one more free breath. Plug in the electric chair!! Pious rhetoric is no substitute for justice! That girl will have enormous mental problems and affect all those around her negatively for the rest of her life. She and they deserve justice. You have so much compassion for the criminal, what about the VICTIM??
Killing him won't change anything for that poor girl. It's already happened.
I happen to agree with you that he deserves
to die. He deserves to die in some of the most gruesome manners possible - I'm thinking of the classic tie all extremities (yes, including THAT one) to a horse and having them all go at once. But what he deserves is different then what is right
by civilized human standards. The government nor individuals have no right to determine who lives or dies. That is left up to the universe. And I'd rather not spend the extra 2 million dollars to execute him. He isn't worth it.
The only thing that drives the death penalty is a feeling of vengeance. And we do not run a country on such hot headed feelings.
