I used the one million moms website to send them a email telling them I loved the ads and not to listen to bunch of dried up hold hags.

I like how they're so uptight that they can't even bring themselves to spell the word 'naked'.

Not even! Based off their Facebook page I think there are only fifty something thousand members.

I believe Million Moms claims a membership of around 50k, according to their tax filings. Far cry from a million.

I was an advertising art major (no big deal) and I find the ad world's lack of imagination these days appauling. Most ads today have to have sexual slants to them. YAWN.
Personally, I think the overdone ad is disgusting. But not enough to write a letter about, for Heaven's sake!
That said, the article states the ad was in People Magazine. Well, gee, mothers of America, you sold out your values just by flipping through those pages. (Not that I dislike the magazine.)
If it was on a billboard, I could see freaking out.
BTW in case you didn't know, advertisers have become aware that the wives do most of the buying. That's why 100% of the commercials on TV have a stupid husband bring schooled by his oh-so-wise wife. Yet women still complain about how poorly they are portrayed on TV.

I work in marketing and advertising and I find it entertaining and a different take on selling salad dressing.

I don't work in advertising...but considering all the free publicity Kraft is getting of these ads...I would say mission accomplished.

    With armpit hair?
Well nothing is right or wrong here. Just giving my opinion. The bottom line is if it sells and the ad did not say how effective it was.

It's a great ad, well done, and it hurts nobody. The poor bitches are just muckrakers. What will they find to bitch about next? The ad appeals to men & women - and actually will be the reason I buy some Kraft products next time I'm in the market.

I don't think you'd notice much difference with the Parmesean flavor...

I learned a good lesson from this.
Next time I want my way, I'm going to say my opinion came from "One Million Voting Gays."
Oh, yeah, people will sit up and listen!

    Dear ABC,
One million voting gays want to know why you couldn't find someone hotter to replace Darren Stevens.

If the ingredients don't make the salad dressing something that adds unhealthy fat, I will buy some!

Me too. Most ads use sex, fear or facts to pitch, very easy to express. Creativity just doesn't fit in much anymore. I've seen some pretty interesting ads outside the US though.

I didn't think the actual Kraft commercial was too racy, but advertising in general has kinda become a bit oversexed. Saw an ad for a vodka the other day that looked way more Victoria's Secret than anything else. It's even called Pucker, and the bottle looks just like lube. icon_lol.gif
