3rd time's the Charm

Going to be joining Fitness World tomorrow again for the 3rd time as they're having a deal of 320$ payout (after taxes too) and $19.95 monthly. This is only the second time in their existence they've lowered their rates like that so I want to take advantage of it and hope that the 3rd time is the charm. Boredom and intimidation were the reasons I quit before.

Any tips to keep motivated/confident? I really want to make the gym/fitness a part of my life = I'm 25 and iv'e heard that the longer you wait, the harder it is to get into the lifestyle.

    Cheers

I don't know if I believe that about the longer you wait. How many high school and college jocks have you seen a few years later who after school and sports are now out of shape? I've seen my share. I think it is more about when you are ready to incorporate it into your life and are willing to dedicate the time and discipline needed to develop your new habits. I don't think it's ever too late (age-wise) to join a gym and get more fit. Good luck with the new programs.

My usual tips are patience and consistency. If you practice both, results will follow.

I think having to pay that much for a gym would keep me motivated to go! Damn that's a lot of money!

I agree and I've also seen quite a few people who only decided to start getting in shape after turning 30, or 40, and look better in their middle years than they ever have when they were younger.
