A dreadful, forgettable, messy dirge badly sung. It has no melody. It's up there with Die Another Day.

It's actually grown on me. I really like it, as odd as a pairing of Alicia Keys and Jack White is.

It isn't that great at all, and is lacking a good flow.

A clip helps. It's not terrible. I liked the song from the last film better though.

I thought I heard it was originally Amy Winehouse too and not Alicia Keys.

It's not a bad song, but it's not right for a Bond movie. It ultimately lacks something sultry and smooth that is supposed to be there... wasn't there for the song Chris Cornell sang for Casino Royale either.

But still... was the movie any good at least? I haven't seen it yet... just the YouTube clip above.

In my opinion, at least from the clip, it doesn't sound as good as any of the competing themes for the online James Bond novel a few months back.

Maybe they should have done a competition.

I think Amy Winehouse was too busy concentrating on her career as a crack whore bitch.

I've vaguely heard of Alicia Keyes but as for the male vocalist, who he?

It's Jack White from The White Stripes and The Raconteurs. I love his other work, but this is quite disappointing to be honest.icon_sad.gif

I think it's quite good. New fresh different AND it is also the first Bond theme to be a duet, so it goes down in Bond history.

"Die Another Day' which was the last Bond theme to hit #1 opened the door to experementing with the sound of the Bond theme, incorperating those classic Bond theme elements while making them modern and edgy, which is what the themes needed. "You Know My Name" was a let down after the incredible Die Another Day, so this one, I feel, really picks the ball back up and takes it in a new direction.

I love Ms. Bassey's themes, and "From Russia With Love" is still on of my favorites, but it was SERIOUSLY time for a Bond Theme re-boot... so Thank you Madonna, and thank you White and Keys!

Obviously, it's no "Goldfinger." But I think it's good. It beats the hell out of the Chris Cornell theme.

Not impressed by it. What's worse is that I was at Borders book store yesterday for a few hours and they were piping in the Bond theme songs the entire time. It was annoying as hell when your trying to read. And the latest song was the worst. But I'm still gonna stand in line to see the movie.
