Posting Your Waist Size on RJ

Just curious: when you posted your waist size on your RJ profile, did you post the size based on the pants you wear or the size of your actual measurement?

I posted my pant size but that is not accurate. Manufactures tend to make the number lower than it actually is. I'm guessing that the proper place to measure is around the waste, above the hip bone.

Mine is my actual waist size. The pants I wear are 28 around the waist, but my actual waist size is 26. It's just hard to find men's pants in a size 26, so my pants don't fit perfectly around the waist like they should.

Mine is the actual and after three months on the elliptical, I hope my proportions have improved
My own curiosity is why so many profiles have waist but no chest size. It doesn't tell much by itself.
My last work out partner had big shoulders and a 29 inch waist (I measured myself). That little waist made me pursue his friendship even though he was a little rude to me. After a year and though, enough was enough.

I measure at my belly button.

Oddly, since I've lost a few inches over the course of the last year, I am now finding that many pants size an inch or two LARGER than my actual measurement (29ish" waist on a good day, wear 30s or 31s). I don't know what's up with that.

my guess is around 30 or under that. i have really small bone mass for an adult. it's very embarrassing. even after some years from lifting where i've been able to put on some muscle, i still look very skinny. icon_sad.gif when i was trying on jeans in the store on saturday, i was able to hit into size 29 to 32 size waist BUT my legs in the pants legs were looking like sticks. i train legs. icon_sad.gif

Who actually wears their pants around their waist these days? I only buy them if they are low rise and ride on my hips. I hate having to wear anything higher than that - it's so uncomfortable! Fashion be damned!icon_evil.gif

    I don't think I listed that.

At any rate, if I were to do so, it would be my pant size or my waist measurement. Measuring my waste would be nasty and inaccurate for this purpose.

I didn't put waist size down but I'm between 28 and 30" so I would just pick the neutral choice and say 29".

I don't remember if I put anything. I'm not advertising so didn't put much thought into it.

I generally wear a 34 because they're comfortable, but I have 32s which I put on now and then just because I can still breathe. At 43 I feel that's a bit of an accomplishment.

TheGuyNextDoor saidTo be honest, I used to have all that filled out in my profile and one day decided, less is more.
It's not really necessary info for me.
    6'2" 34" waist. Big Boy.

Waist size or any stats do not matter if you are fit. I have seen gross flabby 29 inch waists, and shredded abs 34 inch ones. People do not all have the same damn body...That's the beauty of life. I don't even think I have ever read someone's waist size before clicking "add to hot list." Mine is like 26 at the waist, and 29 at the hip...Are there guys on here that are more fit than me? HELL YES.

My posted waist size on RJ is in between the pants size I wear (31) and the actual measurement (33).

I should probably put down my jeans size 31 because.....
