This was in the news. Sad, really. The teacher couldn't see what the photographer was up to at the other end of the benches, or she'd have done something.

The photography company apologized, and had the pic re-taken.

The disabled kid's face is not blurred. Why?

What looks wrong to me is that the wheelchair kid is too far away from his classmates. He's isolated not by his chair but by proximity. There should be no space between him and the other children and clearly there is a bench seat between him and them where another child could have been sitting.

THIS!.....plus the teachers' lack of fashion sense.

I thought that about the wheelchair too at first but he's right up against the wood. Is it the black kid's placement that troubles some? I would have put him there too as an artist. I would have done the same for a solitary blonde kid. Three black kids would have been allowed to sit where they wanted to avoid controversy. I would also not put the black kid next to the disabled kid for the same reason.
But why is the disabled kid's face not blurred out as if he doesn't count? That's so saddening.
Interest test, Bling. Give us your thoughts.

    (edit)
Oh I get it - he's not blurred because the article was about him.

This, plus the only black kid in the class is pushed to the far side as well and next to him is the only ( identifiable) little Asian girl. Middle is a blond girly girl.

    Um, let's see...the blurred faces....
All those other kids except the disabled kid watched that video from "The Ring" and they all died horribly when that watery chick climbed out of their televisions?

I meant it was off-base to be angry. I think it was a slip-up. Give us the answer and I'll say my say.
