lordofthebling's "empathy test" got me thinking of another question.

If you had to be disabled; legs don't work and confined to a wheelchair, blind, or deaf, which would you choose?

Until you lose it, one can have NO idea of the extent of any such loss.

I would want to be blind. I want to fall in love with a man not by his looks, the color of his skin, or the clothes on his back. I want to put my hands on his face and recognize that this could only be him. I've always wanted to know what it was like to look at someone using your fingertips.

Out of the three, I'd choose not having the use of my legs. Blind or deaf would be worse.

You wouldn't be able to do these awful things to me if I weren't still in this chair.

No legs. It'd give me the perfect excuse to skip leg day. EVERY DAY IS UPPER BODY DAY.

I'd pick being deaf over blind.... I do love music, but I'm too tone deaf to create it, whereas I can do visual art. Also I've already found my favorite music, and I would still remember it and hear it in my head.

blind is a NO. visual artist.

I would go with deaf. Between lip reading, subtitles and since I can already talk which is a huge advantage over a real deaf person, Im thinking you could eventually recover a lot.
