I will be at my niece's graduation party, but even I was there I'd be unlikely to catch anything surrounded by church folks.

"Since August of 2010, New York health authorities have received reports of 22 cases of the disease among gay men, or men who have had sex with other men."

In 3 years there have been only 22 cases? Averaging 7 a year in a city of millions? And these officials are warning people about attending NYC Pride? Saying they should be vaccinated first?

I wonder if someone here has an agenda, that has little to do with an outbreak of meningitis? Of the hundreds of thousands attending NYC Pride, I suspect more than 7 will contract other diseases, too. Just as a normal occurrence in any population group. I am a bit skeptical about this meningitis warning, on the eve of Pride.
