"'The Obama administration is dedicated to increasing terrorism,' he went on. 'In fact, it’s doing it all over the world. Obama, first of all, is running the biggest terrorist operation that exists, maybe in history. The drone assassination campaigns, which are just part of it… All of these operations, they are terror operations.'"

i am not the biggest Obama fan, but to be fair Noam Chomsky has been beating the same drum for decades.

Chomsky has made many false claims in the past that if you take him seriously , he is just as much a propagandist as the people he criticizes.

Beating the same drum for decades? it's not as if he's saying some crazy conspiracy theory he's speaking the truth. It's hard to ignore such an obvious disparity in the value placed on a lost human life based on geography. Killing people with drone strikes is terrorism.

What false claims has he made in the past? he's not not a propagandist, he's just informing people. He was recently awarded the Sydney Peace Prize which cited his “unfailing courage, critical analysis of power and promotion of human rights.”

LOL, we do it all the time. It's called National Borders. (Before the modern era, it was 'tribes' or 'clans', you get the idea).

So what you're saying is you don't care about human life outside your National Borders?

I disagree with this Chomski person. Obama has made a mess of the economy (5 years and still no real recovery, really?!). But I seriously doubt he is "dedicated" to increasing terrorism.

I don`t think Obama is dedicated to increasing terrorism around the world, but the thoughtless and excessive use of drone assasinations in Pakistan, for example, is destabilizing the democratic governments of that country; leading to the risk of an Iranian or Talibanic style revolution; or maybe worse, a breakdown of order and civil war-and in a country with nuclear weapons.

The lack of concern in the US and UK about the innocent deaths caused by these drone strikes only makes things worse.

Their legality and precedent is worrying as it could rebound on our countries in future when we might become subject to these kind of attacks.

Both democrats and republicans are dedicated to invading our privacy and paring back our constitutional rights. As for dedicating themselves to terrorism, that is a bit of an unrealistic stretch. But both major parties are definitely dedicated to being a powerful, punitive big brother and that is no bullshit.

We need to stop blowing the shit out of Muzzratistan, despite the fact that those countries are full of misogynistic, homophobic pedophile worshippers.
