Sooooooooooooo freakiest nastiest thing just happened. I went for a joy ride on my bike and a bug flew right into my ear. Took me a lil while to get it out. Was super creeper nasty. Though of course it was tiny. Ugh still feels like I've got something in there, though I know there isn't. It just makes my ears tingle thinking of it.icon_eek.gif

Has this happened to any of you?icon_exclaim.gif

Yes and somehow it started giving a bad taste in my throat. It was a nasty experience. Once I was outside with a couple of friends and laughing out loud and mosquito got inside my mouth. It was worse than that bug that got inside my ear.

I know an old lady who swallowed a fly.

I don't know why she swallowed a fly.

    I guess she'll die. icon_cry.gif

Similar but not really, was riding in my friends' car home from high school one day. We both had out windows down. Had a bird fly in her window and out mine. Still not sure how he did it while we were moving.

You can pour in some hot oil in the ear it will cleanse it.

Damn...I'd freak my shit, run around screaming, "Get it out".

Two days ago something stung me right between the eyes under my sunglasses, while going down a steep rough hill on my Mt. bike.
I didn't even stop just pinched at my brow and pulled the stinger or a bunch of eye brow; mostly pissed because I had just started my run and didn't want to turn around.
I began to get scared when the sharp pain started and pulled off debating the smart thing to do--waiting for anaphylactic shock or something, but I hear a hated voice scream "Walk it off," and road for another two hours.
All was good till I awoke the next morning to find both eyes almost swollen shut.

NOT HOT OIL ... you'll burn your ear ... just plain ole' olive oil ... or get in a bathtub and keep your ear submerged ... make sure water is getting inside your ear

A bumblebee flew into my helmet onetime when I was riding my motorcycle, does that count?

Didn't go into my ear, though, so guess not.

    Sounds unpleasant.
Hasn't happened to me. I'm amazed that bugs haven't flown into my mouth, which is always open.
I had an ear infection ages ago and the doctor gave me some ear drops that were hydrogen peroxide and acetic acid (white vinegar). Dunno what the strengths/percentages were though.

When I was a kid, an ant crawled into my ear while I was sleeping...
Then it started to bite, it was very painful, I cried...

My mother want to pour some water so that it'll die, but I don't want to kill the ant, I kept on crying for a little while. Then my mother brought a torch light and flashed in my ear...Soon, in few minutes the ant came out & I asked her to not to kill and carefully placed it on the wall.

It was a tiny red ant...about 2-3mm in length.

Yup and I was trying to make the tiny fruitfly leave my ear with my pinky but instead crushed it. Had to use a cutip to take out its remains icon_sad.gif

I had to do the same. Washed my ear out while I was in the shower after doing the q-tip. No ear infection yet so I think I'm in the clear. I've had one fly into my eye before. Was dreadful. I had to take out my contact. I have a high pain tolerance, but when it comes to my eyes I can't deal. Rode the rest of the way home half blind in one eye. If I had eye drops it would have been fine. But I couldn't put my contact back in.

You know how house flies get kinda crazy at a certain time of year - just kind of buzzing around, flying into things?
Well, I'm at the dentists - in the chair, mouth open, etc, etc.
A fly is buzzing around, but I don't think the dentist noticed. At one point I'm certain the damn thing flies into my mouth.
The Dentist is working away and all of sudden says "What the hell??!" and pulls the fly out of my mouth.
I did gag at that, but we all had a good laugh.
Good rinse and spit after that happened.

And rinsed with a cocktail later on!
