If anyone here has bought some Aussiebum swimwear, just curious, do the sizes tend to run big or small or do they tend to be spot on. In other words, if you measure your waist below the navel and just above the hip bone like they say to, are the sizes they list accurate?

It's tragic that with that name, their stuff is made only for the smallest of bums.

They intentionally make them small so that your ass practically pops out of them. icon_biggrin.gif

I can get into an XL fine, but they are hard to get hold of in the shops so would have to get them online I guess. They are very expensive as well though, that is my main objection.

I'm currently between a medium and large according to their size chart. But I'm in a cutting phase so I went with the mediums. Now that I read your post, I'm hoping I can fit cause my butt's kinda big. icon_eek.gif

What!? You mean you don't go wandering around in fields with nothing on but your skivvies? Don't forget to wear a hat to protect yourself from the sun.

Aussie runs a little on the tight side. I have a 28-30 waist depending on brand and XS feels is a very tight squeeze. I go with S.

Well, their size chart says that 28 and 29 inch waists are XS and 30 goes up to a S.

The ones I ordered arrived today. My waist at the point the size chart says to measure is right between a M and L but when I tried them on, the waist fit fine. The leg openings were on the tight side though and I felt my butt was stretching the fabric way tight! icon_lol.gif

I'm dieting down after bulking up the last three months and still have a week and a half before I go on vacation and plan to wear them. Hopefully by that time they'll fit just right.

But back to the original reason for the thread. If you're planning on getting Aussiebum swimwear, just measure where they say to measure and follow the sizing chart on their website. The sizes on their chart seem pretty spot on.

Great! So a big bummed, big legged guy like me is going to find it troublesome to get the right fitting size.

If you find that you have to go up a size when buying pants or jeans because the legs are too tight even if the waist isn't, you'll probably have to do the same with Aussiebum's swimwear.
