    Check-out line shopping?

You get in line to check out and have a family member run around getting the items you need.
I have seen this three times at three different stores in the last week--at least the clerk at "Sprout's" let me jump ahead of the line-shopper.

Think I'm going to try it the next time the store is short staffed and the check out line is long.

    Homeless people with dogs???

What a scam...why do I feel more compassion for the dog?

Going to start keeping cans of dog food with me.

That's been around for while. But typically happens when the line is ridiculously long and the mother forgot something on her list.

But if people are doing that on short lines and holding everyone up, then fuck that. Hip check them and get in front of them. icon_lol.gif

In both of the stores I go to you can be in the midst of checking out and say you forgot something and they'll send a bag boy to go get it. That's really annoying to be in back of. Although sometimes I've used it where when I'm checking out I discover that something I got is leaking or whatnot and they send someone back to get a replacement.

Yeah you're right...but these people have like three items and hand out list's, two of them made it just under the wire, adding as many as ten items--of course they have that expression that says: "Come at me".

Yeah, there was this one guy that would walk back and forth on the traffic island, with his cardboard sign. Vietnam vet, blah blah. Looked a bit young to me. If I recall he also had an Iraq War vet cardboard sign at some point. One day, I saw him doing his rounds but he had a little puppy in tow. His new sign said something like, need money for dog food. What a slimy fucker. I could tell he didn't have the dog for companionship, by the way he kept tugging at it as we walked back and forth. Anyways, fast forward to a few months, and I see him without the dog. But with a new sign. Something corny, like need money for beer.
