What are your flaws?

    Here's some of flaws.

Slow learner- I learn anything by having things repeated to me more than once. I don't process information as fast as the others.

Slow test taker- I am usually the last one in each of my college classes to finish a test.

Social anxiety- I'm a pretty shy person, I do not like speaking in large crowds. I do not like to speak at all.

    I take things too seriously.

I have no friends- I get bullied a lot in high school/college and also my family.

    I have acne.

I have a bad habit of biting my nails. It is a disgusting habit.

    I'm easily manipulated

I don't know how to keep my guard up.

I always believe lies and ignore the truth

I'm real with this shit. I am vulnerable and people take advantage of that

I am not going to think about it because I am trying to focus only on the positives.

Well what might be "an asset" to one might be a "flaw" to another. We all have assets and flaws at the same time. One I have is .. I tend to be very structured and dogged about the completion of my goals. That doesn't allow for me to be very spontaneous and that can be a flaw.

Another typical one.... I can put off things that I don't much want to deal with (but others I don't at all). That could be construed as a flaw.

I believe you need to recognise and tackle your flaws in order to become more positive.

    My flaws:

    - I'm easily tempered - but working on it.

    - I have a cutting tongue sometimes - but working on it.

    - I'm a bit of a snob - happy to be so at the moment; I think it just means I have taste! ;-)

    - physical flaw, I have eczema - there's no cure, just ongoing treatment

    I have no social skills

I do not like speaking in large crowds. Sometimes I do not like to speak at all.

    I take things too seriously.

    I have no friends

I find it impossible to let anyone in emotionally in any way.

Oh my goodness, I really should not go down this path.
I can list a whole shitload of flaws, physical and otherwise!!
However I will choose not to this time.
*temporarily pauses my extreme self deprication*

    --EDIT--
    Okay couldn't help myself.
Instead of listing a whole heap of physical flaws I have but one major characteristic flaw I have is that I'm very 'out of sight, out of mind'.
At least that's how I describe it, not sure if it actually has a particular social meaning.

People should never consider any of their physical traits flaws unless they are debilitating (even then it's debatable).

You should only concern yourself with things that are in your control, and these are largely character traits.

    - poor social skills, clumsy & awkward, why I need a partner who has them instead to cover for me, always an outsider looking in
    - painfully shy, especially after military retirement when my uniform spoke for me, and where again my partner is my ice breaker
    - cold & calculating, often devoid of emotion, a military machine, at times merciless
    - poor money management skills, another area where I need a savvy partner (and he isn't one now)
    - verbose in person & writing, a known characteristic of my form of epilepsy, and a side effect of the meds I take
    - trying too hard to be accepted (see poor social skills above)
    - procrastination, though my brinksmanship with deadlines is really an art form
    - clueless about the negative impressions I give other people
    - declining intellect, due to age and a history of multiple accidental head trauma
    - a difficult personality overall, that few can tolerate
    - highly competitive, but only when I choose to be

    Planning, what planning?

I would love to be able to open conversations.

One day, I'll remember to keep in touch with my loved ones.

Everyone has flaws, but some of these flaws were developed in the first place to serve a purpose in our lives.

-I tend to be a competitive person, which I am lucky to get out of my system for the most part by training for and competing in various sports in which I'm very successful. But if not kept in check, it can cause friction.

-I am impatient. I hate waiting for a table at a restaurant and have no tolerance for people who are habitually late. Even worse is when I'm stuck in a pointless meeting or in a social situation where people are stupid or boring--I usually try to find the quickest exit.

-Though candid and open about most other things, when it's about something really emotional and deeply personal, I become stoic. Not because I'm not feeling anything, but because it's like a block in my ability to express myself accurately. This has not served me well in some of my relationships.

I've burned a lot of bridges.... I think there have been too many moments in my life where I have tried to stand up for myself but inadvertently shot myself in the foot, in education, social scenes, relationships, and business.icon_evil.gif
