    From WDDE website:

Passenger air service out of New Castle Airport is ready to resume next week. Frontier Airlines’ launches its low-cost flying alternative to the First State beginning Monday. Frontier’s first flight will be a 7:30am departure to Chicago. The airline also announced Wednesday it is adding Fort Myers, Florida to the list of destinations out of New Castle. It joins Chicago, Orlando, Tampa, Houston, and Denver. Once Frontier started service out of Trenton-Mercer Airport last November, Frontier Senior Vice President Daniel Shurz says they began to look to expand to other airports in the Northeast. “We had been looking at Wilmington as a natural next step,” said Shurz, who believes Frontier fits the airport’s mission of providing a low-fare alternative to larger airports. Shurz added that since announcing its New Castle Airport service in April, response to the fares out of the Wilmington area has been strong. “We’re definitely reaching our expectations,” said Shurz. “We’ve been very happy with what we’ve seen, great response. I think Denver has been the strongest of the markets but all of the markets look good. And our confidence has obviously been shown this morning by the fact that we’ve announce new service to Fort Myers starting in November.” Director of Airports for the Delaware River and Bay Authority Stephen Williams is looking forward to taking advantage of the opportunities Frontier’s partnership with New Castle Airport provide. “We’ve done a great job of maintaining it and improving it over the years,” said Williams. “This is just the culmination of that effort and we thank Frontier for recognizing it. We just need people now to recognize that it’s a key market and a key opportunity.” Shurz says that the Delaware River and Bay Authority have been very easy to work with. “They’ve made things happen,” said Shurz. “The airport is simple but it is essentially close to ready to start with and they’ve done everything needed to get to where we are today.” All flights will be in Frontier’s fleet of 168 seat Airbus 320 aircraft which include six rows of stretch seating and personal video screens embedded in the back of each seat. To celebrate the new service out of Wilmington, fares to Chicago, Houston, and Fort Myers start as low as $45 through June 29. - See more at:

Who the feck cares? Air travel is scummy and has no class to it.

    Train travel is classy

Even bus travel is now more classy than air travel
