    Of all People !
Tim Robbins, the actor, went to Vote in NY and found that his name had been scrubbed off the voter rolls
But he knew what to do .... if that happens to you NEVER let them have you sign a provisional ballot
    They ALWAYS challenge them
Insist they do whatever needs to be done to have you vote

Mine was all messed up! icon_mad.gif
I registered on time, but I never got my voter card in the mail... I had a copy of the form I filled out which was given to me upon its completion when I registered and I was told to bring it to the polling center if my voter card didn't arrive. It has a reference # on it that they used to try and look me up; only to discover that my registration form had never been turned in.

So, They had to make me provisional. The guy helping was pissed tho, he said that the people who failed to turn in my form had committed a misdemeanor and he made a copy of my form which he sealed in an envelope along w/ the stuff i had to fill out and sign.
    *sigh*
Such a hassle. I hope my vote counts.
If not this will be the 3rd (and this means every one I've been eligible to vote in) election that my vote didn't mean squat...grr....
-The last 2, I was overseas and did absentee ballots, which they only count if it's really close. Luckily in the last 2 elections my state (at the time) MA voted as I would have... although we still ended up w/ 2 terms of Bush...grr...

Not so much trouble. I just found it curious that in South Carolina Obama's name was the fourth choice on the ballot. Below Cynthia McKinney and the Constitution Party Candidate.

To make it fair, names on ballots are in different orders depending on the precinct you vote in. in other precincts in the state, Obama's name would've appeared first.
