I put this under Science because this is just plain bizarre, while modern medicine cant figure it out, poor man, I couldn't find a "after surgery" video that left him with a 1 inch penis, He said: “I met with a surgeon in California and asked what happened to the humongous growth. I said: ‘As it’s coming off my body I would like to retain the giant testicle sac.’ I wanted it bagged and taken home with me.", icon_eek.gif

Wesley, from Las Vegas, started suffering from the embarrassing deformity after he squashed his privates while asleep in June 2008.

He went to the doctor and was prescribed antibiotics to reduce the swelling – but his testicles continued to grow.
    ...
Wesley was diagnosed with scrotal lymphedema and docs said he would need a operation costing thousands to remove the sac

I think the shocking thing was that he let it get that big to begin with.

Also, The Sun is a tabloid newspaper. So take this story with a grain of salt.

    Watched this last night.

The reason he "left it so long" is because he was only covered for medical insurance in his state, and there were no doctors qualified in his area to perform the surgery. He tried a donations campaign, but donations dried up.

Eventually a doc in his area did the operation free of charge (so the hospital gets good press).

Related true story: when I lived in West Berlin, Germany, in 1979 a US Army deserter from the 1950s turned himself in. He'd been hiding in Berlin for 25 years.

He'd been living with a German woman in her apartment with her mother, unable to get married because he had no legal documents, and trapped in the divided city because of the Cold War, located 100 miles inside Communist East Germany. During this time he developed a hernia, but couldn't afford medical treatment for it, and wasn't eligible for free coverage from the Germans. Eventually his intestines began to fill his scrotum, until it became as big as a basketball.

In order to leave the apartment he'd wear a trench coat, and carry a cloth shopping bag in front of him that held his scrotum. He and his girlfriend would only go out at night, when darkness helped hide his secret, and she'd help him carry his heavy "package".

But in 1979 the girlfriend died and her mother demanded the guy move out, threatening to call the police. And that's when he turned himself in to US authorities, as we still had a sizable military presence in West Berlin.

My wife was a Signal Officer, and sent one of her official photographers to record the guy in his Army hospital bed after he was taken into custody. But she hadn't been told the nature of his medical problem, and sent a female photographer.

That soldier in turn had to take official pics of his enormous balls, which grossed her out. And one of her pics made the international press when the story was released, showing the guy sitting up in bed, a blanket up to his chest, his hands resting on this large round object pushing up the blanket at his lap.

I know the guy got an operation, not sure how successful. My recollection is that he was shipped back to the States and dishonorably discharged, but not given prison time for being AWOL. I guess the authorities felt his life had been made miserable enough, an aging man in poor health.

My first instinct was to laugh at this but as someone who's had testicular tortion I am well aware how sensitive the testicles are. Now I wear underwear all day long, even in sleep because its important to me that my boys are secured.

Yes Troy, proper testicular/scrotum care is important. There's more to balls than just slapping against ass ya know icon_biggrin.gificon_biggrin.gificon_biggrin.gif

But not too tight and secure. Heat is their enemy. And even if you're not concerned about sperm count, there are questions (but no conclusive study results to my knowledge) about whether tight, hot clothing lowers testosterone production, and if it increases the incidence of testicular cancer.

My own pattern is loose boxers with loose cargo shorts or pants, for coolness here in Florida, almost like going commando. And snug briefs or jock for bicycling, other exercise, and with trimmer dress trousers. And never anything below the waist in bed. A nighttime woody in briefs is painful! icon_mad.gif

For precaution I tend to wear my older, less elastic briefs at night for protection. I used to wear nothing and thought I was sexy each night before I woke up to a bad case of testie torture. I needed emergency surgery that night. And still have to pay off a high Dr. bill. I'm scared shitless to leave my sack unsecured before bed time. The pain and the surgery sort of left me a lil psychologically scarred.
