Metta8, me and others would love to see your opinion on some of the news you post.

Regarding this one, my gut reaction was "Come on... isn't it a little bit too much?", but after reading the article it sorts of makes sense.

But, like, what do feet have to do with, like, homophobia?

Really encouraging, but of course there are detractors and there will be no end to complaints by ultra-conservative parents.

The earlier in life, the better, as far as I'm concerned. For kids—even young kids—to be assured that they're not freakish, sinful or unsafe is a vital start to healthy psychological futures. I think this sounds like one of the most important developments in recent years. Thanks for sharing it.

Do NOT ask such a question. You'll get your account banned. I've seen it happen to others here who have dared ask the question, and also mention that he floods the forums with posts.

Nice to see you have finally stopped the charade of trying to make us believe you are someone else than Southbeach.

"Me"is happy that he posts them; they're frequently interesting and/or interesting, regardless of his own opinion. It's a public service. Me doesn't care what his personal view may be.

Except that the political-themed stories he posts are always from the radical left point of view. Which is fine for most of the membership here. It does, though provide a rather unbalanced and biased view of the world.

We have you and the riddler to cover the other half.

NONE of you can say that you are truly unbiased because the political garbage posted here are all extremist views.

The AAP is only making such suggestions. They are only a couple of decades late.

    I agree.

Sadly, the only pediatricians who will act on any of this are the ones living in progressive, urban, Blue-state areas -- where the kids' parents are already likely gay-friendly.
The red states are where efforts like this are needed, but I suspect any pediatrician providing pro-gay acceptance messages would find him/herself without many patients. icon_sad.gif

Someone tried that a while back. I think he posted as many right-leaning stories as Mette8 posted left-leaning stories and guess what happened? His account got deleted.
