Incredible film - watch it if you ever get the chance. Just played at SF Gay Film Festival. Israeli film. - A disturbing but realistic love story between a Telaviv lawyer and a West Bank graduate student. As the bard said, the course of true love never did run smooth, and this love has its problems, including family resistance, cowardice, the Israeli security police, Palestinian enforcers, the fear of being killed if being discovered as gay in the West Bank, blackmail, police chases, execution hits, and the daily problems of any Palestinian living in Israel.

So far, only exhibited at film festivals (won this year's "Teddy" award in Berlin for the best gay -themed film). Picked up by a small distributor - so may eventually be released in the U.S. Coming to Outfest in LA next week.

Looks like it's well produced. Haven't caught up with some of the short films for a little while, might be worth checking out.
