Don't be sad. I think you should try to understand the ethos and character of the site and the men on it before launching yourself headfirst into it.

This is a site for (mostly) gay fitness fanatics. The jocks who play sport, join college frats, spend their life in the gym, eat healthily(ish), dont drink and are anti-drugs.

    ^ epic generalisation ^

So, thrusting yourself at people as a slightly overweight, teenage emo and starting threads every 10mins about how no one loves you and that you haven't got a boyfriend after a week on this site is not gonna get you a lot of fans.

Sit back; watch; observe; find useful ways to contribute to existing conversations; people will slowly accept you.

The above is true to any social situation or crowd. No one respects a try-hard fishing for attention.

No offense, just stating it how I see it.

    Also, welcome.

You're an emo. You don't want acceptance. Otherwise, your whole cultural ethos would be devastated. God forbid you be happy.

I find the emo culture incredibly tiresome and immature. Forgive me if I get bored and put you on my ignore list.

Jake, mate. Don't patronise me. I've known my fair share of emos, goths, punks, cybers etc.

The emo trend is a pathetic mass-marketed watering down of the goth scene, and I know tons of true goths who are lovely friendly happy people.

I've got no time for posers, which you - I'm sorry to say - come across as in the extreme.

So, perhaps this isn't the right site for you.
Incidentally, I smoke weed daily too, but that doesn't completely exclude me from maturely engaging in conversation in a way that is productive and meaningful.

"Haha I hate gyms, I chain smoke, I smoke pot (awesome stuff) and I drink till I'm shit faced defiantly a outsider"

Why would a chain smoker, pot smoking, gym hating, teenage "outsider" join this website only to complain about being a chain smoking, pot smoking, gym hating outsider who is lonely?
You are making a series of stupid choices and then you post your little crybaby issues. Go join a gay, smokers, anti-social website for angry and confused teens, you may find someone to date.

You don't have to like the "rules", but these social norms are "there" and they are a reality of whatever environment in which you find yourself. You just have to know the rules, show by your actions that you know the rules, then learn to bend and change the rules.

Consider seeking out an "in real life" mentor or a youth group where you can talk through what you're feeling and experiencing in your life. Don't just turn to the interwebs for advice and "social" interaction.

we dont have goth or emo kids here. they feel embarrassed standing at the bus stop in the same clothes as the AMISh kids.
