    OMG! icon_eek.gif
I normally don't get these, but suddenly I have a craving for...

    In-N-Out Burger (The Secret Menu)

    20110228-in-n-out-secret-menu-primary.jp

    The really bad news is...

I have a car for the next 9 days! icon_eek.gif

    What would you do?

Go get one, you goofy! You only live the once then are dead for a somewhat longer period of time, eh?
    icon_lol.gif

You can work it off or feel happily guilty for a day or two.

But the closest ones are "equidistant":
    1. 45 minutes away across town (on 4th of July) at Fisherman's Wharf.
    2. 45 minutes away across the Golden Gate Bridge in Marin County.
    3. 45 minutes away going south towards the Airport in San Mateo County.

And, it's just way too late at night to be driving around on the 4th of July.

Sigh. I'm just going to have to tough this one out. icon_sad.gif

Now this is where Fred Flintstone's car would come in handy; all that footwork to work off the burger. icon_lol.gif

I know. AND, I'd be giving up parking space on the street that would then cause me to have to either circle around for another 45 minutes looking for parking.

I've got eggs AND Kerrygold Irish Butter AND cheddar cheese here at the house. I think I'll do up an omelet. Add some kale for flavor.

    Thanks for the idea.

In-N-Out in the morning for breakfast after the gym. icon_twisted.gif

My sister just called. I told her about this topic.

She groaned and laughed and said, "Men...."

I am now sitting with a bowl of six (6) scrambled eggs made with 1/2 and 1/2, bacon fat, four (4) slices of sharp cheddar cheese and garnished with a healthy dollop of Kerrygold Irish Butter.

    I'm in my happy place...

I always get the double-meat, protein style, mustard fried, light sauce and grilled onions. It's OK, but there's got to be a better burger elsewhere?

Oh my god, how many different revolting fast food chains have you guys got over there?? I hear of a new one each week. And they all look just as bad as Mac-Ds.

THIS is a good looking burger:

As gay men, how can we not appreciate a chain called In-N-Out?

    Appreciation, but in moderation.

It's true that McDonalds does have much better fries. I don't know if there's an In-N-Out near me but I once went to one while on a trip and was very surprised at how lackluster their fries were. And you could even see the gizmo they put the potato in to cut it into fries so you know they're fresh. Apparently the McDonalds fries are partially cooked, then frozen, then get the final cooking at the burger joint. That whole process is more akin to how pommes frites are made. Sorry for the geek cooking digression.
