Everyone of you sexy, fit jocks seem to have it all together physically. What can you suggest for me to do to begin losing weight. I'm not altogether overweight, I just have a lot of baby fat that I would like to get rid of. Currently I am only going on half hour long walks daily.

What do you find works/worked best for you?
What's the best place to start?
What are the best foods to eat?
What can I do to fill out the back end of my new briefs?

    Thanks for your advice!

I was overweight once, I was like 19 years old and I went from 189lbs to 129lbs.
    I didn't run, I never liked cardio.

I ate well, and worked my ass off.
It's all about super, super hard work, don't cut corners at all, motivate yourself, find a reason to work out.
Someone you want, someone you want to look like, this worked for me. And I drank about 12 cups of water daily, did sit ups, push ups, ass workouts.
You can't cut corners, and remember it takes time.

You'll start seeing results after vigorous workouts after a month or two. You can't expect, and DO NOT expect results in a day or two, or even a week.

Do not stop, find a motivation.

    Lifestyle change
At first it's a novelty .. Then after a few weeks it becomes easy to make excuses to stop , this is the critical point at which you must push yourself to form a habit of saying no to the excuses

Sometimes I walk outside to get the newspaper said the skinny guy.

Jk. I walk 12 miles a week at minimum. With hills. I work 6.1 miles from my house, and lacking a car, I end up hoofing it a lot of the time depending on my shift. There is no bus. It keeps me in shape.

I'm down 61 pounds from this time last year. I started with my diet. I cut refined sugar completely, and drastically reduced carbs. Ate only lean meats, leafy greens, beans, eggs, etc. CLEAN eating.

After losing 45 pounds, I hired a trainer/nutritionist. THAT made all the difference in the world! He was blunt. Despite all my efforts, I needed another year to get into shape. That was March.

I decided that if I had to pay him for that length of time, I better follow his every word, and did exactly what he told me to do and eat. Still do! It's been life altering, and I can't wait until I can post photos of me as a RJ. I'm so very close!

And for filling in that caboose, squats of every type and form. The best (and most difficult for me) is single leg squats and/or weighted squats. You have to work your gluts to the point of failure a minimum of three times a week or you'll NEVER fill in the briefs. If your ass isn't burning morning, noon, and night, every single day, you aren't working it enough to build it. Period.

Now go eat some lefy greens with white beans, tomatoes and avocados. Find the best wild caught salmon or cod you can afford. Eat eggs, Greek yogurt, and organic fruits and veggies. Get to the gym no less than 6 days a week. Then ride your bike, run, play basket ball, whatever. Just spend the majority of your hours awake active and moving.

    And get more sleep.

You need a lot of cardios and a clean diet. Swimming will help you tone the fat as well. It will take some time before results start to show up. Sometimes, you just don't know that there is an existing medical condition and that is causing weight gain. Check with that too.

Diet and workout. But it starts in the mind first
