So despite all the negative perceptions of crossfit and people telling me OMG you're crazy and it's super unsafe I decided to join crossfit. This is my fourth week now of doing it and man what a difference it has made. Before I joined I was getting bored with my workouts and I was actually starting to hate lifting because I would just get super bored. Crossfit is never boring, and I like that the workouts are designed to strengthen your body overall and evenly.

I have also noticed that they go through extensive education to make sure all their members know how to PROPERLY execute all the foundational movements. They stress safety and technique constantly. So I'm happy to say that I have found those negative crossfit stereotypes to not really apply to the crossfit gym I'm going to. I have met some who have had injuries but when you look at their injuries it is generally because they weren't lifting properly or were lifting too much weight.

All in all I love my crossfit workouts and I will be posting pictures soon of the progress and changes my body has made in the short amount of time I've been doing it.
