Hey kids. I've been gone a while. Cooling my jets to get my thesis done and temper myself during this political season. Now it's all over, we'll be cool, I'm sure. But first! Look at this from Fox News. Shep Smith has been a pretty cool guy lately. It's impressive.

Good luck on the thesis and welcome back.

This video, or a similar one, has been posted a couple of times here and I find it disturbing for reasons other than its content.

Although I understand the need now and then to keep disclosures "off the record," this seems like an absurd case of that. If this woman was exhibiting this depth of ignorance and instability, while blaming the press for her own avoidance of it, shouldn't this have been reported?

To me, it's another case of the press protecting a politician to the detriment of the public welfare.

We the PEOPLE saw through the weak façade! They totally under-estimated our wheels! The Katie interview was her undoing!

Not knowing what countries are involved in NFTA.
The notion that Africa is only country and not both a Country and a Continent just as the USA is just insane. I guess when you are a Maverick you’re not require to know a basic working knowledge of national or international politics.

Who in there right mind does not prepare for a major interview, that’s like not preparing for a final exam, I just don’t get it.icon_rolleyes.gif

Apparently the list goes on and on!

    WOW!

    Hey thanks guys.

Yeah, that whole "off the record thing" gives me the willies.

And I'm totally a master now! But I sure don't want to work in a lab. sigh. Life is such a cruel joke.

interesting that the McC campaign wouldnt let this information out before the election. They were willing to saddle the country with this woman, rather than risk the election.

This is an article from the Globe and Mail regarding the backlash against Sarah Palin now that the election is over. If true, it is scary that someone who could have been the leader of the world's most powerful country did not know that Africa was a continent.

As my grandmother used to tell me.

"You can take girl out of the woods. But, you can not take the woods out of the girl"

Poor (Where is South Africa?) Sarah. God I hope she is gone forever. I am so sick of her.

But it is all McCain's fault. He should have picked someone from a state with more electorial votes. Not the energy expert.

I like the ideas expressed, but I have trouble with these people talking and not allowing their names to be used. This is the same thing Oberman is doing, who I adore, but think they shouldn't be reporting unless a name goes with it.
