I'm thinking about quitting smoking and was wondering if anybody knows if there are any dangers to taking both Chantix for quitting smoking and Complera for HIV?

Yep loads google it and see. Otherwise talk to your doctor. Some friends used it to quit smoking and had no end of trouble both physically and mentally

Talk to your doctor or at least your pharmacist. You'll need a prescription anyway. Don't know if there's any conflict between them but if there's not, I recommend the Chantix. Plugs the pleasure receptors that nicotine attaches to thus nullifying the pleasure. When that is done, you start getting the real taste which is just as if you've licked a dirty ash tray clean. That's why you keep smoking even as you start the drug. Once you have that reaction firmly implanted in your memory, as well as taste memory, you simply don't want it anymore. You can be around smokers and still not have any interest. You do have a bit of withdrawal symptoms but they're totally manageable. And short.
