Not too sure about Perth in terms of gay population but Melbourne and Sydney seem to be the better options of the three.
Don't take my word for it though, I really don't have that much of an idea.

Not relocating for gay-community. Looking at friends , job and lifestyle first. Used to live in QLD, not into gay-scene, met some awesome dudes at that time, and hopefully will be the same this time.

Only travel to both, never live in Melbourne or Toronto. Had a very good vibe on both; there are quiet similar.

I love Toronto and the next place for me is most likely Melbourne. I am actually very curious about what to expect. I have a phobia of geckos so that is the scary part.

Seriously, Geckos? They are cute, usefull, and wont eat you.. You should be more afraid of, shark, spiders, jellyfish, magpie, cockroach, Vegemite. Be very carefull about the last one, can lead to death icon_lol.gif

Lol. "Aussies" don't like Indians. I would know, being an Indian guy from Australia.

Aussie is actually a nationality but most people (even in Australia) act like it's an ethnicity. Annoys me.

I know a few Indians living in Australia (including my childhood friend) and they would disagree with you.

I doubt you will be liked unless you leave behind your blatant stereotyping. There are some bigots in Australia like every other country. Stop painting us all with the same brush.

Stereotypes are never good. Maybe australians doesn't like you, regardless your nationalty, never though about it?
And as a french, suffering from a bad image atm, as lots of my counterparts are messing with aussies, stealing = french shopping lol, I always been warmly welcome down under.
Moreover, I spend few months in India, not only as tourist, and its the rudest country I have been so far.

My nationality is Australian. My ethnicity is Indian. Obviously you'd get a nice friendly welcome down under, you're white. Lol. Honestly, I don't care that Australians don't like Indians. I actually think it's funny. But yeah, I'm just saying.
