    Any William Smith fans?
I just ordered some old BROADSIDE episodes. It was a 60's TV series about three women being stationed in an all male military base.
In one episde, William Smith is transfered there and the women go nuts for his bod. It was great soft porn.

He's from the Edson Stroll school (that hunk from those two "Twilight Zone" episodes):

I didn't remember William Smith, but then I definitely recognized him from his picture on the wikipedia page. He was definitely handsome.

Mine was the well known Steve Reeves.

Edit: forgot to say that that Broadside tv show sounds like a hoot.

Wow - how did you find that?
I searched youtube, found nothing, and then bought those blurry copies.

Thanks for the info, turbo and lumpy.
Now to look into Clint. They certainly got his shirt off often enough.
Here's more Edson Stroll from McHale's Navy. What a handsome guy. The way Binghamton contstantly said, "Put your shirt on - that's disgusting" was so arousing.

I watched every episode of McHale's Navy reruns just to catch a glimpse of Edson with his shirt off icon_smile.gif So hot!! icon_smile.gif

It was in their contract in those days to the present day, that any hot good-looking male actor has to have his shirt off in a certain percentage of scenes for ratings & drooling purpose; unless of course ur playing Tarzan (a given) or doing private gay stag films for the gay powers-that-be of the time, like a lot of them handpicked hotties did icon_smile.gif .....Wouldn't it be so hot to get hold of these private gay stag films hdden in the private vaults of the gay Hollywood execs of that time?! See Clint Walker, Tab Hunter, Guy Madison, Steeve Reeves, Rock Hudson and the rest of the hot hunks all going at it, showing more than just their barechest cleavage for their bosses icon_smile.gif .....

In the Broadside pilot clip, Sheila Keuhl (sp?) is the short WAVE.
She played Zelda in Dobie Gillis, and later was elected
to the CA legislature, the first lesbian member I think.

Oh gee I thought I recognized her. Thanks.
    Trivia question:
What two TV shows had a character repeatedly enter and say "you wrang?"

Was one Miss Hathaway, the banker's assistant, on the Beverly Hillbillies? I thought she would say it as "You rang chief?"

The Beverly Hillbillies and Green Acres are another two that I loved.

Also Bewitched; loved her mother and Paul Lynde. The husbands were always kind of hot in a geeky clean cut sort of way.

"You rang?" Lurch from The Addams Family. Not sure of a second though Miss Hathaway's definitely out-of-the-box thinking.

Dick York was the REAL Darrin, for my money. But Dick Sargent (the second Darrin) turned out to be one of our own, so there's that. Still, there was no comparison in terms of the comedic performance, IMHO.

Agreed. Dick York had the greatest facial expressions.

Yeah, just thought of Lurch while I was in the kitchen. This is disturbing; I keep going on about how much I hate tv but I have a lot of good memories from my childhood tv watching days.

Of course, for me, the best tv bodybuilder was Robert Conrad from The Wild Wild West, I always waited for the end of each show where he'd pull off his shirt to change his clothes. Really hot body and a nice face. The show was fairly unremarkable; dull acting and scripts. That was the late 60s.

I preferred the Dan Briggs character (played by Steven Hill); he was the leader in the first season. I didn't care much for Peter Graves, who replaced him.
