I'm sorry but something in the milk isn't clean.

This sounds fishy as hell and this poor man was basically charged for the same crime twice.

Well, there should be plenty of evidence with all those shots fired. I hope the truth comes out.
I know prejudice exists but it's easier to believe one cop went nuts than four cops at the same time.
Being tried twice is wacky though.
I have to remind myself that the news never reports anything accurately.

No. How is that he pulled out a weapon and fired his gun and none of them have a scratch on them? Did it take twenty eight shots for them to get him? Seriously?

I know it's a touchy subject but did you ever see the whole Rodney King video? (I'm sure you have.)

Yeah, my English 111 professor had us watch it and do a 4 page paper detailing the different points of view of Rodney, the Cops, and the different communities that got innocently attacked. It was horrible. I was just saying that in jest anyways.

    Fascinating assignment.
Did it give you nightmares? I wouldn't be able to watch it again after seeing parts of it the first time.

No, but we were all shocked at how things spiraled out of control. In the end we determined there were specific hard-wired psychological triggers responsible for the events that played out. And everyone, the nation as a whole, learned valuable lessons from the incident.

According to the article, the jury deadlocked on the charge of attempted murder. So, there was no finding of guilty or not guilty. Therefore, it wasn't double jeopardy to try him a second time for attempted murder.

As for why he shot at the officers, it's anybody's guess.

Never the less, when there are police involved, juries almost ALWAYS sides with the police.
