I occasionally get a crush of a guy I like and it ALWAYS hurts, unless he doesn't reject me and it actually works out, which has yet to happen.

I've a couple of crushes at the moment, one of which is over my personal trainer at my Gym, I want him so much.

I don't like liking guys, it just makes me feel vulnerable and the pain for pining for someone and the experience of jealousy is worse than physical pain in my books.

Anyone got a crush at the moment?

Yes, a couple of them - my vertebrae just aren't what they used to be.

I have a few RJ crushes, but no in person ones at the moment. All mild though... none that have me gorging on pastries and crying in my beer. icon_lol.gif

OP - hang in there man, one of these days you'll find an awesome guy that will reciprocate your feelings. Though he may not necessarily be a personal trainer. icon_wink.gif There is something about personal trainers - all that sweating, hands-on help and motivation... it certainly does stir the longings a little (been there...)

Really? I would want someone is NOT my type. I don't want a hot guy seeing me in awkward positions, sweating, losing my breath way too soon by his Super Fit standards.. lol I would feel so uncomfortable

Always. And...it...SUCKS. Crushes are the worst.

My current crush doesn't even know I exist.

My next crush will probably live super far away.

Kathy Bates to Brook shields is Richard Simmons to my personal trainer.

I have found a picture of him on facebook, but I don't want any risky in privacy being breeched.

If it bothers you so much ask him out and be his friend. If not learn to focus your mind to something more useful. Is he even gay? lol

So basically you are lusting...if he is not then it might be very uncomfortable or creepy for him. So do what you need to satisfy your testosterone level and move on lol

I agree. If you're not sure about his sexuality, definitely don't bring up the subject or ask him out - if he's straight, it will create awkwardness and you'll lose your trainer. Though if your feelings are getting stronger, you might want to find someone else anyway, so as not to torture yourself.

The thing about a crush is that you don't really know him, you're infatuated with your idealized image of him.

crushes are healthy ok as long as you dont do anything stupid. I dont really have crushes on guys ... most of the time i just think a guy is cute and thats about it, i like guys with with depth and passion so it takes alot for me to form a crush

Finding a guy 'cute' doesn't completely make him your crush, the whole idea or concept of limerence is much complex than a simple admiration. There are many factors that sparks an infatuation about someone beside physical attractions. I think crushes are a precursor to love.
I've had and still have my share of crushes. I wasn't prepared for the first one because I never thought I'd be infatuated by someone to the point of obsession. However, the second time I decided to act on it, get a reality check, and some good came out of it. Unfortunately, nothing comes close to your first one-at least for the time being.

Not counting any of the Greek Satues of RJ I had one 2 weeks ago he was actually intrested. He turned out to be an asshole n nothing kills a crush faster than that (other than being straight of course lol).

Yeah. I tend to fall.for people's personalities too easily. But as of yet, nothing that a cold beer and some good music hasn't cured.

I have an epic crush on my lodger. But he's straight and very level-headed. He knows it too; he flirts with me and my husband outrageously! can't say it hurts. It's fun flirting. Prob because I'm in a stable happy relationship; I just love flirting with cute straight guys.

He's an actor and one of the hairiest guys I've known.
