Yay for Game of Thrones and Breaking Bad getting a bunch of noms! icon_biggrin.gif

Never saw American Horror Story though. I've heard mixed things about it.

I had doubts about the second season when they first announced it, but I was absolutely sold after a few episodes. It managed to surpass the amazing first season, in my opinion. And Jessica Lange's scenes (including a memorable musical number) make the series. So glad she's in season three.

Poor Dylan McDermott....give him a belated first season award for his incredible ass...it's WAY better than that dumb Banana song...icon_confused.gif Quinto I hope not. Cromwell no. Paulson will probably win. Lange, also.

Jessica Lange did an amazing job. and she definitely stole the show in the second season.
i think it was her best performance since Frances.

Sarah Paulson gave one of the most incredible performances I've ever seen on TV. She better get that Emmy acceptance speech ready!

Season 2 overall was kind of a hot mess but that doesn't mean it was thoroughly entertaining.

Even though it got off to a bit of a shaky start, I actually preferred season 2 to season 1. The final episode was great as well and wrapped things up neatly. I'm glad that there were a range of nominations, but fail to understand why Sarah Paulson was only given a nomination for supporting actress, as in my opinion, she was worthy of lead actress. Oh and Pepper definitely should've got something!

The actors themselves are often the ones who decide which category to submit their names for. The producers of the show can also have a hand in the decision. It was probably decided to submit Sarah for supporting actress so she wouldn't go head to head with Jessica Lange. This also increases the chances of the show getting 2 acting Emmy awards instead of just one. I do agree though, she should have been nominated for best lead actress!

The thing I absolutely HATED about Asylum was that Pepper was killed off. I desperately wanted her to have a happy ending in the season finale.

'This video is not available in your country.' I just had to go and watch it all! Pepper was the Miss Congeniality of the season in my view!
